The Binh Duong Provincial People's Committee in Vietnam convened a press briefing on April 12, unveiling plans for the upcoming 2024 Horasis China Economic Cooperation Forum scheduled from April 14 to 16. Anticipated in drawing a multitude of both domestic and international enterprises and dignitaries, this forum stands as a pivotal event for fostering economic collaboration.

This prestigious gathering is a collaborative effort between the Binh Duong Provincial People's Committee, the Horasis Organization—an esteemed international investment promotion entity—and the China Federation of Industrial Economics. The president of Horasis disclosed that numerous prominent corporations from China and across the globe have already enlisted to partake in this significant economic conclave hosted in Horasis, Vietnam.

Binh Duong Province presently commands over 10% of Vietnam's export output, with the Song Than Station serving as the southern region's inaugural railway station facilitating direct exports of agricultural commodities to China. As highlighted by the Binh Duong Provincial People's Committee, the province stands among the nation's top three destinations for foreign investment, boasting over 4,000 active foreign direct investment projects, while simultaneously nurturing a flourishing domestic business community.

Beyond entrepreneurial entities and business consortia, the Vietnam Binh Duong Horasis China Economic Cooperation Forum will witness the attendance of governmental officials, academic institutions, and research bodies. Envisaged to feature 6 plenary sessions and 21 parallel dialogues, including 2 special sessions dedicated to Binh Duong-centric themes, discussions will encompass investment climate, innovation ecosystems, logistics infrastructure, and global supply chain e-commerce.

Given Vietnam's strategic positioning within the "One Belt, One Road" initiative, prospects for enhanced collaboration in infrastructure development, energy, and finance between both nations are poised for augmentation. The Horasis Forum in Binh Duong, Vietnam presents an auspicious avenue for Chinese enterprises to capitalize on burgeoning business prospects, thereby catalyzing the deepening of bilateral ties and fostering comprehensive economic cooperation between China and Vietnam.
