EqualOcean has learned that recently, the Chinese traditional medicine big data diagnostic platform Zhongai Cloud (中艾云) announced the successful completion of a CNY multi-million angel round financing. The funding was jointly led by Xincheng Investment (鑫诚创投) and the Comely Bodyline Industry Fund (歌曼丽产业基金) . This capital injection will primarily support ongoing product development and market expansion.
Established in 2021, Zhongai Cloud is dedicated to Chinese traditional medicine big data diagnostics, promoting related software and hardware products to B-end customers. Currently, the company has partnered with Gemanli to provide customized Chinese traditional medicine big data diagnostic software services, gradually covering its thousands of stores.
With the deepening aging population and increasing number of chronic disease patients in China, the Chinese traditional medicine health industry is experiencing rapid expansion. According to WiseGuy Reports, the Chinese traditional medicine market reached CNY 481.8 billion in 2023, with a year-on-year growth of 6.9%.
Despite this growth, the industry still faces challenges such as talent shortages and standardization of technologies. Compared to traditional "look, listen, inquire, and pulse-taking" diagnostic instruments predominantly deployed in hospitals and clinics, Zhongai Cloud's Chinese traditional medicine big data diagnostic equipment not only conducts facial and tongue diagnoses under different light sources but also provides personalized inquiry services tailored to individual needs.
In terms of promotion, while traditional diagnostic instruments are mainly deployed in hospitals and clinics, Zhongai Cloud focuses on health consumption as its primary promotion direction, collaborating with over a thousand large B-end customers to allow consumers to enjoy services directly in stores.
Zhongai Cloud has also developed an application solution "Chinese medicine intelligent diagnostic equipment + intelligent moxibustion service robot." Users can conduct targeted dialectical analysis through intelligent diagnostic equipment, followed by inputting relevant personal data, enabling the moxibustion service robot to perform intelligent operations based on the user's body meridian points, thereby avoiding misuse.
Looking ahead, Zhongai Cloud plans to continue expanding the application of health maintenance scenarios, promoting Chinese traditional medicine big data diagnostic equipment in beauty and health stores, and creating a dedicated experience area called "Energy Cottage" to promote intelligent moxibustion service robots.
In terms of technological development, Zhongai Cloud will further increase its investment in artificial intelligence, planning to launch more Chinese multimodal large model products suitable for various application scenarios.
