First imaging flagship of 2025 was released
On March 2, Beijing time, Xiaomi, Chinese Internet company, held the global launch event of the Xiaomi 15 series in Barcelona, Spain. The Xiaomi 15 Ultra was launched globally at the same time, with a starting price of EUR 1,499 (CNY 11,376) in Europe, exceeding the price of Apple's most expensive model, the iPhone 16 Pro Max.
On February 27, Xiaomi Group (01810.HK) released the two most high-end products in its 15-year history to the domestic market: the Xiaomi Phone 15 Ultra and the Xiaomi Electric Hypercar SU7 Ultra.
The Xiaomi Phone 15 Ultra is Xiaomi's first mobile phone that matches the iPhone in terms of product technology and performance, and is fully compatible with the Apple ecosystem in software. The Xiaomi SU7 Ultra is Xiaomi's first high-performance electric hypercar. Lei Jun, the founder of Xiaomi, called it "the fastest four-door car on the planet." Many of the car's core systems have reached racing car level configurations, and some performances even surpass those of Porsche, but the price is only CNY 529,900.
In 2024, the global shipment volume of Xiaomi smartphones increased by 15% year-on-year, and the sales volume of high-end mobile phones exceeded 10 million units, a year-on-year increase of 43%. In January 2025, Xiaomi's market share in China ranked second.
