Apple upgrades intelligent user interaction experience

On March 14, it was reported that Apple is about to witness a significant upgrade in the audio device field, with the AirPods set to introduce a real-time translation feature.

It is reported that Apple is planning to roll out a new AirPods feature that allows the earphones to translate face-to-face conversations into another language in real time. Insiders said that this feature will be launched as part of this year's AirPods software update and will be bundled with the upcoming Apple mobile operating system, iOS 19.

Currently, some competing earphones have offered similar features for years. For example, Google's Pixel Buds have had such functionality. Since 2020, Apple has provided a built-in translation app for iPhones.

Analysts believe that the addition of the real-time translation feature not only enhances the practicality of AirPods but also expands Apple's application scenarios in the smart audio device market. In the future, Apple may further strengthen the collaborative functions among its devices to boost its competitiveness in the smart wearable field.

Technology media outlet AppleInsider recently reported that in order to expand Apple Intelligence, Apple is developing AirPods with a built-in camera. This move aims to obtain environmental data through the earphone camera to provide a more intelligent interaction experience.

Under the pressure of sluggish sales, Apple is preparing for one of the most significant software upgrade campaigns in the company's history, changing the interfaces of iPhones, iPads, and Macs for a new generation of users.
