According to news on March 31, Apple plans to launch the iPad Pro and MacBook Pro series products equipped with the brand-new M5 chip in the second half of 2025.
At present, the new iPad Pro equipped with the M5 chip has entered the final testing stage. It is expected to start mass production in the second half of the year and may be launched in October.
Apple plans to make a major revamp of the MacBook Pro in 2026. It will be upgraded to the M5 chip simultaneously and may adopt an OLED screen, providing more vivid and high-contrast colors while making the body lighter and thinner. In addition, the MacBook Pro will be equipped with a new generation of M6 chips, which are expected to use TSMC's latest 2nm process technology.
Apple is also developing an M6 version equipped with its own modem chip, which is expected to be released in 2027.
