Redmi Publishes Its Note 7 Pro, Redmi 7 and Redmi Ecological Chain Production

Mar 18, 2019 /EqualOcean/ - On Mar 18, 2019, Redmi (红米) held its conference to publish the Redmi Note 7 Pro, Redmi 7 and Redmi ecological chain production.  At the beginning of 2019, the Redmi has already held a conference to publish its Redmi Note 7 while the host is the founder and CEO of Xiaomi Group, LEI Jun (雷军). However, in today’s conference, the host is LU Weibing (卢伟冰), who joined Xiaomi on Jan 10, 2019, and works as the vice president of Xiaomi Group who in charge of Redmi brand.

The camera is always a hot topic in the mobile phone industry. In Dec 2018, Huawei published its Nova 4 and Honor V20 models with a 48-megapixel camera. Afterward, the camera topic between Huawei Honor and Xiaomi keeps being popular. On this conference, LU Weibing said that Xiaomi made 2 groups of comparison between Redmi Note 7 and Huawei Honor V20 to test the photography ability of the two phones. One group was settled on the indoor environment and the other was outdoor. Xiaomi even asked the notarial office to prove the authentication of this experiment.

Although both the Redmi Note 7 Pro and Huawei Honor V20 are equipped with the SONY IMX 586 sensor, the experiment shows that the Redmi’s photography ability is better than Huawei Honor V20. LU Weibing concluded that the performance of Note 7 pro is as good as the flagship-level model of Huawei which costs CNY 3000.  However, the price of the Redmi Note 7 Pro is only CNY 1599.

Beyond the mobile phone, Redmi also published its “ecological chain”, including the AirDots, the wireless headphone, and the Redmi automatic washing machine. With the help of the ecological chain company, the Xiaomi and Mi+ are perfecting its ecological system and providing more and smarter home-related products. The publication of these ecological products is one of the reasons for Xiaomi’s high sales volume of its phone.

With the arrival of the 5G and IoT, it would be more attracting if the Redmi manufactures not only mobile phones but also the other related ecological items. We expect that in the future, Redmi could build another ecological chain of smart home items, and provide quality services with a relatively lower price.
