Active Users of Community Group-Buying Applets Up 83% in 1H2020

According to Aladdin index statistics, during the epidemic, the mini-programs handed in a dazzling transcript. The numbera of users of the supermarket, fresh fruits and vegetables, community group-buying and logistics mini-programs increased by 115%, 168%, 83%, 68% YoY, respectively. Government affairs applets rose 60% MoM, and medical services applets surged 347% MoM.
The number of users of content and gaming mini-programs showed a significant decline as tools, content-related and games are difficult to make profitable and are entering an awkward adjustment stage. It is urgent to break the situation with the commercialization of small programs.
Mini-programs are mostly covering the first-tier and second-tier cities, with users accounting for up to 50.3%. The middle-aged group has the highest use rate of mini-programs, with 68.5% of users over 30 years old.
