After going public in the US in late March this year, Zhihu was said to be seeking another IPO in Hong Kong – it is possibly preparing to submit IPO documents in January next year.

Zhihu has not yet publicly responded regarding these suggestions. However, information regarding the suspected ownership change with major shareholders pulling out has been acknowledged as invalid. Zhihu indicated that it is standard practice for Chinese companies that list overseas, and the main shareholders and their stakes in the company are unchanged.

 Zhihu, launched on January 26, 2011, is a Chinese question-and-answer Quora-like platform where questions are created, answered, edited and organized by its community users.

 Zhihu's business model mainly includes online advertising, commercial content solutions, paid memberships, and other businesses (including online education and e-commerce), with online advertising revenue being its main revenue engine.
