Naturehike, a leading Chinses outdoor equipment brand, recently completed its first financing round of nearly CNY 100 million (USD 15.71 million), with exclusive investment from Eastern bell Capital.
Since its establishment in 2010, Naturehike has been focusing on the development and sales of hiking, camping and mountaineering products, including tents, tables and chairs, sleeping bags, air mattresses and other products.
At present, Naturehike owns more than 80 patents for utility models and designs.
In addition, Naturehike's products are popular overseas, covering 68 countries such as South Korea, Japan and Australia. What’s more, its products made it into the list of top ten new brands of Overseas Annual National Products in 2020 on Tmall, the B2C shopping platform under Alibaba.
In the past two years, camping has boomed in China as COVID-19 flare-ups restrict long-distance travel. According to the "2021 Generation-Z Camping Style Social White Paper" jointly released by Taobao and Soul, a dating app, camping has surpassed the previously trendy games, such as room escape and murder mystery games that are the favorites of the post-95s.
