According to the science and technology innovation board daily on the 8th, SMIC International announced that on or before December 14, 2020, several shareholders of SMIC Shaoxing signed equity transfer agreements through separate transactions to transfer their equity equal to that of SMIC Shaoxing. Meanwhile, some shareholders of SMIC Shaoxing and new investors agreed to sign transactions to inject capital into the registered capital of SMIC Shaoxing. Therefore, Xinjiang Dongpeng, Qingdao Yingke, Suzhou Populus euphratica, Qingdao Tongchuang, Shangrong innovation, global fund, Ningbo Wanxin, Qingdao softcore, Guangzhou chentu, Haitong international trade, Tianjin Yuanfeng, Zhaoyin growth, Qingdao Juyuan Xinyue, Qingdao Juyuan Xinyue phase II, Shenzhen Venture Capital, masterwell, Shanghai Hongcheng, Suzhou Heji and Zhuzhou Ruilian became the new shareholders of SMIC Shaoxing. On January 8, 2021, these new shareholders signed a new joint venture contract with existing shareholders of SMIC Shaoxing (including SMIC Holdings) to reflect the above changes. As SMIC holdings did not inject further capital into SMIC Shaoxing, the company's shareholding ratio in SMIC Shaoxing through SMIC holdings decreased from about 22.26% to 19.57%.
