On December 10, CATL (宁德时代) signed an agreement with Singapore’s Vena Energy to supply 4GWh of EnerX battery energy storage systems for the Indonesia-Singapore "Green Economy Corridor." Utilizing high-density 530Ah cells, the project will transmit clean power to Singapore via subsea cables. This major order, following a previous 2GWh shipment of 587Ah cells, strengthens CATL’s global market share. Furthermore, the company is building a 15GWh factory in Indonesia to bypass trade barriers and serve Southeast Asia through localized production.
