The test road announced this time is located in the urban open road of Lanzhou New Area, with a total length of 13 km. It is equipped with intelligent roadside equipment such as edge computing, millimeter wave radar and communication unit. It has high-precision positioning and high-precision map. The test scenario meets all the requirements of level 5 driving automation for the elements of the road intelligent layer, and takes the lead in carrying out v2x equipment safety test and robustness test in China. Prior to this, Gansu has built and launched a comprehensive test and application demonstration base for intelligent transportation and intelligent networked vehicles. At present, the mushroom car connected automatic driving intelligent transportation project has been implemented in Beijing, Jiangsu, Hunan, Henan, Sichuan, Yunnan, etc. It is the first city level autonomous driving project in China under construction in Hengyang, Hunan Province. The road intelligent transformation covers 200 km of urban trunk roads. The first phase of the project has been completed, and the autonomous buses, sweepers, patrol cars, taxis, etc. have been put into trial operation in batches.
