Geely Holding Group released the 2021 sustainable development report, which disclosed for the first time the goal of achieving full link carbon neutrality in 2045. The report shows that by 2021, the life cycle carbon emissions of Geely vehicles under Geely Holding will be reduced by more than 25% (taking 2020 as the base year); Volvo cars' carbon emissions in the whole life cycle of a single car are reduced by 40% (taking 2018 as the base year). In order to achieve the goal of full link carbon neutralization in 2045, Geely Holdings has determined multi technology paths such as pure electricity, plug-in hybrid and methanol.
