BodyPark launches "AI + real people" online personal training classes.
BodyPark, an AI technology company focused on sports and fitness, announced that it has closed a Pre-A round of funding of millions of USD led by Frees Fund and followed by Picus Capital. Previously, BodyPark received an angel round of funding from ZhenFund.
BodyPark is committed to combining "AI algorithm", "real-life interaction" and "gamification" to create professional and efficient, fun and easy fitness products and services that users can access at any time. At present, its in-house DeepBody Engine can recognize nearly 1,000 fitness training patterns, perform real-time movement correction, provide after-class analysis reports and optimize training programmes, and other multi-dimensional services.
In the fall of 2021, BodyPark launched its first paid To-C product--BodyPark "AI+real people" online personal training classes. Consumers do not need to buy special hardware, but can take classes with their cell phones, iPad and smart TV screen casting.
In terms of course content, BodyPark has built nearly 1,000 AI training movements and developed its own BIPT course system, which is divided into three stages and five levels to meet the needs of users at different stages of fitness.
BodyPark's self-developed AI human posture recognition and movement understanding engine digitizes and intelligently transforms the traditional fitness movement training which is difficult to be quantified, and implements the end-to-end closed-loop "AI + real people" online personal training product service.
In terms of commercialization, BodyPark started off with a paid model. At present, BodyPark's “AI + real people” online personal training class provides single card, unlimited quarterly card / semi-annual card / annual card and other fee models. The first single payment of users is between CNY 2000 and CNY 3000.
For the future, the team will first focus on the commercial growth of the current "AI + real people" online personal training classes, further iterate on the AI engine and products, and develop more AI + gamification interactive features, with the aim to further reduce the threshold of participation and adherence to fitness.
