Chinese express industry has reached the stage of high-quality development on the occasion of the upcoming online shopping festival "Double 11"

SF Express is a well-known express logistics service provider in China, located in Shenzhen and founded in 1993. SF's logistics products include efficient express, economic express, crosstown delivery, warehousing services, international express, and cold chain transportation services for customers in the food, fresh and pharmaceutical industries.
In addition, SF uses big data analysis and cloud technologies to provide customers with warehouse management, sales forecasting, and financial management services from the perspective of consumer demand.
The briefing shows that the operating revenue of SF in September 2022 was CNY 22.83 billion (USD 3.15 billion), an increase of 35.92% year-on-year. The revenue of express logistics business was CNY 15.39 billion, up 2.45% year-on-year; the business volume was 959 million, rising 8.73% year-on-year; the revenue of supply chain and international business was CNY 7.43 billion, an increase of 320.42% year-on-year.
SF achieved steady growth in both business volume and revenue. The company's Q3 2022 express logistics revenue was CNY 44.85 billion, up 8.51% year-on-year; Q3 2022 business volume was 2.82 billion, increasing 8.92% year-on-year.
Data from the State Post Office (Chinese: 国家邮政局) shows that in September 2022, the express development scale index was 385.5, an increase of 6.3% compared with the previous month. In the first three quarters of 2022, the business revenue for express industry has already exceeded that for the whole year of 2019.
The "Double 11" (Chinese "Black Friday," 11 November every year) is coming, therefore the express industry is at its busiest period of the year.
