Tiktok has introduced a new set of "enhanced" privacy settings that limit certain features of teen users and change the default settings of the app on accounts under 18. The accounts between the ages of 13 and 15 will be switched to private accounts by default. This change applies to new registrations as well as to existing accounts that may have previously been made public. The app also changed the default settings for comments. Now it can only be set to be open to "friends" or can't comment.
