On August 30, tmall global officially launched the intelligent warehouse distribution network to place cross-border goods in the warehouse nearest to consumers in advance. The proportion of cross-border packages reached the next day can be increased by up to 90% to further optimize the consumer experience. "Under the traditional bonded warehouse mode, cross-border goods are often distributed across the country in one warehouse. Consumers far away from the bonded warehouse cannot enjoy the arrival of imported goods the next day." According to the relevant person in charge of tmall global, tmall global has enabled the intelligent warehouse network to provide cross-border businesses with intelligent warehouse network planning according to the merchant's commodity characteristics and consumption data analysis, store the commodities in the front warehouse of the corresponding area in advance, and ensure that consumers can deliver the goods nearby and the next day after placing an order. At present, the first batch of front warehouses are located in five core cities in East China, South China, central China and North China. After allocation, the proportion of goods in the next day of the corresponding region can be increased by up to 90%. Consumers can identify such products through the "next day arrival" label on the product page. It is understood that this is the first intelligent warehouse distribution network built in China without increasing the logistics cost of merchants, and also makes tmall global the first import platform to realize the arrival of bonded goods on a large scale.
