Elsevier, a global information analysis company, released the list of "highly cited scholars in China" in 2021. Tao Hu and Professor Yu Jintai, two researchers of Tianqiao Academy of brain sciences, were successfully selected. Tao Hu is currently a researcher of Shanghai Institute of Microsystems, Chinese Academy of Sciences, TCCI researcher, founding director of 2020 frontier laboratory, and winner of 2020 Shanghai Youth Science and technology outstanding contribution award. Dr. Tao Hu led his team to publish several top-level papers in the fields of micro nano sensors, biomedical materials, brain computer interfaces and more than 80 papers in journals such as science, nature and PNAs, of which 27 were selected as cover articles and cited more than 15000 times. There are more than 20 patents at home and abroad, and some of them have successfully realized technology transformation. Yu Jintai is currently the chief physician, professor and TCCI researcher in the Department of Neurology of Huashan Hospital Affiliated to Fudan University. Professor Yu Jintai conducted in-depth research on key scientific issues such as the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of Alzheimer's disease, took the lead in jointly publishing the international guidelines for evidence-based prevention of Alzheimer's disease with 17 authoritative professors in China, the United States and the United Kingdom, and established a new scheme for the early diagnosis of plasma ATN of Alzheimer's disease. A total of 4701 people are on the list, from 523 universities, enterprises and institutions, covering 10 disciplines and 84 first-class disciplines of the Ministry of education. The citation and index database (Scopus) is used as the statistical source of scientific research achievements of Chinese scholars, and the selection method of soft science design is adopted. Finally, 4701 Chinese scholars with the most global influence in various disciplines are obtained.
