On May 31, 2022, Stryker announced that its Q guidance system was licensed by FDA 510 (k). The Q navigation system, used together with the spine guidance software, is an advanced surgical planning and intraoperative navigation system designed to achieve open or percutaneous computer-assisted surgery. Spinal surgery navigation system is the first spinal surgery navigation software licensed by FDA, which can be used for pediatric patients aged 13 and above. It is reported that the Q navigation system is equipped with a high-performance navigation camera developed based on Stryker's 20-year experience in navigation technology. The Q navigation system aims to provide spinal surgery planning and navigation functions through multiple tracking options, complex software algorithms and intelligent instruments. Q navigation system has completely redesigned software applications, semi-automatic and automatic segmentation functions, gesture recognition and wide compatibility with various types of image sets. Used in conjunction with the AIRO truct scanner, the ecosystem provides automatic image registration and combines high-performance tracking with cutting-edge intraoperative high-quality images and scanning volumes.
