
From March 26 to 30, the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) organized a Chinese entrepreneurs delegation to visit Brazil to promote stronger economic and trade practical cooperation between the business circles of the two sides.
On March 28, the China-Brazil Economic and Trade Forum was held in São Paulo, Brazil. Relevant institutions and enterprises from China and Brazil signed multiple cooperation agreements on-site, covering areas such as agricultural and food procurement, mining cooperation, and participation in the China International Supply Chain Expo, with the total amount involved exceeding USD 2 billion (CNY 14.54 billion).
Brazilian Vice President and Minister of Development, Industry and Trade Alckmin met with the delegation. Ren Hongbin, President of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, led the delegation to meet with Brazilian political and business figures, visited well-known local enterprises, attended the China-Brazil Economic and Trade Forum, and emphasized the willingness to continuously strengthen economic and trade cooperation with Brazil, further intensify collaboration on multilateral platforms such as the G20 and BRICS, create a new situation for business circle cooperation within multilateral mechanisms, and welcomed Brazilian enterprises and institutions to participate in the third China International Supply Chain Expo.
Members of the Chinese entrepreneurs delegation came from more than 40 enterprises in sectors such as agriculture, food processing, finance, infrastructure, energy, communications, and healthcare.
