The US-listed education company New Oriental (NYSE: EDU) has recently established a university business department. As a first-level organization of the group, this business unit integrates all adult training businesses of New Oriental. This action is intended to separate out the adult training business in the local schools and be directly managed by the group headquarters. The growth rate of the adult training business has slowed down in recent years, and the epidemic situation has directly led to a decline in the revenue of the overseas study business. The split of the adult training business in schools will help local principals to concentrate on doing well in the K12 business.
