China Telecom, founded in September 2002 and headquartered in Beijing, is a telecom services provider. The company went public on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on July 9, 2018. Its major shareholders are China Telecommunications Corporation, Citigroup Inc., BlackRock, Inc. and JPMorgan Chase & Co. China Telecom's competitors include China Mobile and China Unicom.
