On October 20, The 10,000th P7 mass-produced model of Chinese new energy brand Xpeng Motors, locally known as Xiaopeng, rolled off the assembly line at its Zhaoqing factory. It is worth noting that the firm started mass producing the P7 just six months ago. The EV-maker officially stated that as the only manufacturing base of P7, it is also the first self-built smart factory of Xpeng. P7 is the first sedan and the second mass-produced model of Xpeng. Current data shows that the number of registered users of its mass-produced SUV, G3 (including G3i), has exceeded 20,000. Xpeng is the third Chinese EV maker to get listed in the US and has raised USD 1.5 billion in an IPO, which was upsized from USD 1.28 billion.
