Children's critical thinking education startup 'Spark education' announced the completion of the USD 150 million E1 round of financing. The round was led by KKR and followed by the existing shareholders. The firm has raised a total of USD 340 million. According to Luo Jian, founder and CEO of Spark education, the firm will further polish its products, add more courses, and further improve its service quality in the future. According to official disclosures, the latest monthly revenue of the startup has exceeded CNY 200 million, the renewal rate is 80%, the referral rate is 85%, and the paying students have exceeded 250,000. There are currently courses for Mathematical Thinking L1-L3 (3-6 years old), Chinese Pinyin, literacy, and English S1 (3-5 years old). Among them, the English subject is the subject that the firm has set foot in for the first time, and this subject is currently only launched in the form of AI interactive classes.
